Châu Đốc, Vietnam, 2014 - Leica M7, Super-Elmar 21, Kodak Tri-X * These crispy and savory "Bánh xèo" pancakes were the best vegetarian ones I ate in the world and offered for free in the remote pagoda "Chùa bánh xèo” located outside the city. Their fresh veggies were picked in the very morning right in the surrounding mountains. The young easy-going cooker in this hot outside kitchen totally impressed me in making 9 big pancakes in the same time like an experienced conductor.
