Lạng Sơn, Vietnam 2000 - Leica M4, Summilux 35, Kodak Tri-X I chose this candid picture for the front cover of a future art book on the Vietnamese people, a story of labor hands and kind faces. The ancient steelyard, plastic shopping bag above a vegetable wicker basket, wad of bills, liquor jerrycan and especially the collusion smile of a pretty seller attracted me at once.
